Job description
Role Overview:
This position is for a registered nurse (RN) specializing in neurology, working full-time on day shifts. The role involves providing comprehensive patient assessments, developing and coordinating individualized care plans, and ensuring safe and effective interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Coordinate care plans to ensure timely and appropriate interventions.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in various formats.
Provide personalized patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.
Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Successful completion of an accredited Associate's or BSN degree in nursing.
Current Illinois nursing licensure and CPR certification.
ACLS certification within three months of hire.
Preferred experience in neurology or related fields.
