Are you a new graduate RN or a nurse with less than one year of experience looking for the right place to grow your career? Maxim Healthcare's Novice Nurse Training Program is designed specifically for Registered Nurses who want hands-on experience, individualized mentorship, and the confidence to excel in patient care.
You’ll work one-on-one with a patient in a home setting while partnering with an experienced Maxim nurse who will provide real-time coaching, training, and support. This unique program allows you to build critical nursing skills in a supportive environment while making a meaningful difference in a patient’s life.
What You’ll Gain

Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and contracted services
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient response
Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes related to established goals
Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate updates to the physician and clinical supervisor
Document all care coordination and physician collaboration accurately in the medical record
Ensure a safe patient environment while following infection control and universal precaution standards
Provide high-quality, compassionate care in a home setting
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current CPR certification
Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, if applicable
Less than 12 months of nursing experience
