RN, Nurse LeadProvides unit-based leadership working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Ensures that all patients on the unit receive cost effective, professional care that results in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction while maintaining the highest level of patient safety. Assesses and takes steps to improve quality of patient experience.
requirement :
Night Shift, 3 x 12s 1800 - 0630. No set schedule/rotating. Must have NRP, ALCS, BLS, AWHONN ADVANCED FETAL MONITORING WITHIN LAST 2 YEARS. 5 plus years of experience. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YRS SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE. CHARGE NURSE experience Required. No call required.Education and Work Experience:Bachelor?s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: RequiredMaster's Degree: PreferredFive years' technical experience: PreferredSupervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: RequiredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: PreferredClinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification: PreferredDepartment Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required within 6 months of hire or transfer: RequiredNeonatal Resuscitation (NRP): RequiredFetal Heart Monitoring (FHM): Required
