Position Overview
Seeking an experienced RN for a fast-paced, 35-bed Observation Unit providing acute care for diverse patient populations, including cardiac, surgical, and behavioral health cases. Patients typically stay 24-48 hours. The team works closely with physicians and ancillary staff to ensure optimal outcomes, supported by a unit-based educator, nurse supervisors, charge nurses, and a discharge nurse.

Patients typically stay 24-48 hours. The team works closely with physicians and ancillary staff to ensure optimal outcomes, supported by a unit-based educator, nurse supervisors, charge nurses, and a discharge nurse.
Responsibilities Include
Performing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans
Implementing and adjusting nursing interventions based on patient response
Accurate documentation of care and compliance with departmental standards
Monitoring IV sites, starting IVs, and maintaining safety protocols
Communicating effective with team members and reporting safety concerns
Participating in staff meetings and contributing to professional growth
Qualifications & Skills
RN license and BLS certification (within 30 days)
Over 1 year of nursing experience
Proficiency with telemetry, IV management, and patient connection equipment
