nAs an RN in Occupational Health, you will provide services to fellow caregivers and staff, helping them feel supported in all areas of wellness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing and coordinating patients' discharge plans and monitoring, recording and communicating patients' conditions. You will ensure employee compliance with Joint Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) and other regulatory agencies to facilitate efficient, effective services and care. In this role you will be representing Cleveland Clinic so your commitment to quality is critical.

nA caregiver in this position works part-time rotating variable shifts between the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. You must be able to float between locations located in North Canton, Millersburg, Dundee and Fredericksburg Ohio.

nA caregiver who excels in this role will:

nnnCoordinate and provide direct clinical care to employees.

n

nnWork closely with providers in relation to return to work and workers compensation.

n

nnFocus on cost-effective ways to maximize wellness and prevent illness, disease and disability.

n

nnPerform clinical and/or coordinate activities, such as vision screens, venipuncture, TB testing, vaccinations, COC urine collection, breath alcohol testing, audiometry, spirometry, respiratory fit testing, health assessments and blood borne pathogen counseling.

n

nnCoordinate and track compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees.

n

nnSupport clinical manager in the oversight of clinical operations, scheduling, staffing and delegation of duties.

n

n nMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

nnnGraduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)

n

nnCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

n

nnCurrent Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association OR the American Red Cross

n

nnTwo years of clinical experience

n

n nPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

nnnOccupational Health RN experience

n

nnTwo years of employee health experience with training in COC urine specimen collection, breath alcohol testing, audiology, spirometry and venipuncture skills

n

n nPhysical Requirements:

nnnLight Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.

n

nnEven though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.

nnNote: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

n

n nPersonal Protective Equipment:

nnFollows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

n nPay Range

nMinimum hourly: $33.50

nMaximum hourly: $53.40

nThe pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
