PCU RN - Night Shift
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night 4x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled PCU RN to join our team, working in a progressive care unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care to a diverse patient population and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit.
Manage patient care plans and implement appropriate interventions.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Perform IV starts and manage IV therapies.
Assist in diagnostic procedures and collaborate in patient assessments.
Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a PCU or similar setting.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Experience with Meditech charting system.
Candidates must be able to float to other units when necessary.
