About This Role
The RN in the Pediatric ICU at Cleveland Clinic provides direct nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, focusing on exceptional care from initial introduction to discharge. This role is ideal for dedicated caregivers looking to enhance patient experiences and grow their nursing skills.

Pay: $36 - $56/hour

Facility: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus
Department/Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
What You'll Do
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
Requirements
Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program) required.
Experience:
One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
Will consider military RN experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year of employment.
