Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, 3x12-hour shifts per week. On-call required based on unit census with weekend availability expected (5 shifts in a 6-week period).
Job Description
The Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care to pediatric patients in a Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The position involves floating between units as needed and participating in various patient care activities.
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments to pediatric patients
Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
At least 1 year of relevant pediatric nursing experience preferred
Current RN license in the state of practice
BLS and PALS certifications required
Experience with Epic charting system preferred
