About the Job

MU Health Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our nursing team in Pediatrics ICU (PICU). Our PICU unit is a 14-bed unit with flex capacity to 16 or 18 beds. We utilize a family-centered care model where parents are treated as partners and use advanced technology and innovation to care for our Pediatrics patients that range from a couple days old to 21 years. You'll see a variety of diagnoses, including respiratory, neurology, orthopedic, oncology, and traumas. You can also expect growth pathways, as at two years, all Pediatrics nurses get chemo certified. PICU nurses also do PCAR and PECCO training.
