Job description
Wilmington SurgCare, an outpatient surgery center in Wilmington, NC, seeks a Registered Nurse for Pre-Op and Recovery. In this role, you will complete thorough pre-operative assessments, review histories, medications, and consents, start IVs, and prepare patients for same-day surgery. Post-operatively, you will monitor patients in recovery, manage pain and nausea, assess airways and vital signs, and provide clear discharge education. You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff in a quality-driven, patient-centered environment with predictable schedules and exposure to multiple surgical specialties.
