About This Role
The Registered Nurse in the Recovery Room at St. Vincent will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in a fast-paced critical care environment. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in collaborative settings and are committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Schedule: Full-time, Day shift with occasional evenings and on-call requirements
What You’ll Do
Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Provide peers with verbal and written feedback regarding clinical practice.
Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in department-specific quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans.
Analyze health status of individuals and families to determine care needs.
Assess patient condition changes and notify physicians/supervisors as needed.
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous lifelong learning for self and others.
Requirements
Education
Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
Experience
Certification in area of specialty preferred
Licenses & Certifications
CPR certification required
Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
