Position Overview Bonus: Up to $20,000 may be available for full-time postions. Department: 7 North Cardiology Schedule: Shifts Available: Full-Time Nights, (3) Twelve Hour Shifts, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, and (1) weekend every 4th weekend, Pattern scheduling Full-Time Days, (3) Twelve Hour Shifts, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, and (1) weekend every 4th weekend, Pattern scheduling Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East Benefits for eligible positions only include: Generous Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and More 15 Telemetry beds and 8 IMC beds Job Description Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols ofthe healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND Required professional licensure at time of hire.
