RN / Registered Nurse - Hospice - on-call
Job Locations: US-MN-WOODBURY
Office Location: 1811 Weir Dr., Ste. 150, Woodbury, MN 55125. Coverage area: Woodbury. Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am-8:00pm - Every Other Weekend.

As an On-Call RN you will
Deliver hands‑on care to hospice patients and offer supportive services to their families during after‑hours, on an on‑call basis
Assess and manage urgent symptoms quickly and compassionately
Administer medication or adjust care based on hospice protocols or provider orders
Communicate with the physician regarding changes in condition and obtain orders as necessary
Offer guidance and support to the patient and family in understanding the current condition and anticipating the next steps
If a death occurs during on‑call hours, pronounce death, provide support, contact funeral home, and notify the hospice team
Complete timely documentation and communication
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in the state of operation
One year nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred
Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred
Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care
Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
Must be a licensed driver with a vehicle that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and in good working order

Salary Range
USD $43.00 - $45.00 / Hour
