Location: South Florida Baptist Hospital, 3202 N. Park Rd., Plant City, FL
Status: Full time
Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday‑Friday
On Call: Yes

Summary
The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:
Proficient in the care of a sub‑specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members
Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For consideration for this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year of Operating Room experience as an RN.

Experience
Required: 2 years acute care experience or 2 years interventional/procedural experience
Preferred: 1 year interventional/perioperative internship
