RN Unit Manager – Elderwood at Burlington
Weekly Pay | Leadership Opportunity | Gas Allowance
Salary $84,240/yr – $123,357/yr

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized nursing care plans.
Coordinate resident care with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members.
Mentor, coach, and support nursing staff while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the nursing unit to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance.
Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, staff development, scheduling, and performance management.
Monitor clinical documentation, resident outcomes, and quality initiatives.
Participate in leadership meetings and continuing education opportunities.
Encourage innovation, recognize outstanding staff performance, and continuously improve resident care and employee engagement.
Qualifications
Current Vermont RN license (or eligibility through reciprocity).
Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
At least one year of nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience in long‑term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
Dementia care experience is a plus.
BSN preferred.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
