Job Title
RN – Rehab (Contract, In‑Office, Northport, AL)
Position Overview
Travel: Rehab RN. Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Accept 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays as required. Every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Provide 24‑hour medical monitoring and care to patients during the rehabilitation program.
Participate in daily provider rounds with physiatrist, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and rehab nurses.
Utilize advanced therapy equipment, including body‑weight support systems, treadmills, Dynavision machine, and simulation vehicle, to aid patient recovery.
Ensure close medical supervision of patients admitted to the facility while they undergo rehab.
Education
Associate degree in nursing.
Certifications
AHA BLS or Red Cross.
Licenses
Registered Nurse, State of Alabama or Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
Experience
Minimum 2 years experience required (consideration for 18 months). Must have at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty.
