n nRegistered Nurse Duties and Responsibilities
nnnProvide professional nursing services and health support to students in a school environment.
n
nnAssess student health needs and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
n
nnDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized student healthcare plans.
n
nnAdminister medications, treatments, and emergency care according to established protocols.
n
nnRespond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
n
nnMaintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation.
n
nnCoordinate with parents, healthcare providers, and school personnel regarding student health concerns.
n
nnProvide health education, screenings, and wellness initiatives for students and staff.
n
nnEnsure compliance with school health policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
n
n n**Minimum Qualifications **
nnnMust hold CA RN license
n
nnMinimum of one (1) yearof recent experience as School Nurse
n
nnAdditional certifications may be required
n
nnCopy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
n
