About This Role
The RN in the Maternity Unit at Cleveland Clinic's Mercy Hospital provides exceptional care to patients during childbirth, ensuring their voices are heard and their preferences are respected. This role is ideal for dedicated nurses who thrive in a supportive environment and are passionate about maternal care.

**Pay:** $35.50 - $55.60/hour

**Department/Unit:** Maternity Unit
**Schedule:** Part-time, Night shift
What You'll Do
Provide direct nursing care to patients.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families.
Circulate and scrub in the Operating Room.
Train in the OB Emergency Department.
Cross-train to post-partum.
Requirements
**Education:**
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required.
**Experience:**
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required.
**Licenses & Certifications:**
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of hire.
