Overview
Your positive attitude helps put visitors to our ambulatory clinic at ease from the moment they walk in. As a key member of our collaborative care team, you thoughtfully assess each patient’s needs and guide them toward the most appropriate care plan — ensuring the best possible outcomes. This position is Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday, 830AM to 5:00PM with Wednesdays off.
Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care within an assigned department or unit
Collaborates as part of the health care team under the direction of the clinical manager or designee
Adheres to the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses
Performs all aspects of the nursing process:
Assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care
Follows established Legacy Health System standards, including Patient assessment protocols & patient transfer procedures
Qualifications
Education:
As required by licensure.
BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred.
BSN may be required for specific assignments.
Experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
Experience:
One-year registered nursing experience or completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing residency program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration.
Additional clinical experience requirements may vary dependent upon the specific department in which the position is utilized.
Skills:
Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community.
Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
Licensure
Current applicable state RN license required.
BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association required.
Pay Range
USD $51.78 - USD $77.34 /Hr.
