RN Supervisor
Join the Avir at Moody team as a RN Supervisor in Fairfield, TX!
As a RN Supervisor at Avir at Moody, you will play a vital role in overseeing nursing operations during weekend shifts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and compliance with regulatory standards. As a leader, you will provide guidance and support to staff, promote a positive work environment, and maintain confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.
Responsibilities:
Supervise nursing staff and ensure proper staffing levels during weekend shifts
Provide quality direct nursing care on units or floors assigned
Coordinate resident care and address any clinical concerns promptly
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
Complete required documentation accurately and timely
Monitor and enforce infection control practices throughout the facility
Provide education and training on infection prevention measures
Conduct regular audits of hand hygiene and sanitation procedures
Perform other duties as assigned to maintain quality standards and facility viability
Requirements:
Current RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in long-term care
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of infection control protocols and regulatory compliance
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Physical, cognitive, and sensory requirements include ability to move intermittently, remain calm under stress, and function independently
Must be able to read and write in English, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds
