Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas' campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center. We're home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.
This is a Full Time, Salaried, Night Shift position, benefit and annual bonus eligible , located at Scripps Memorial Encinitas .

Join our 38 bed - level III Emergency Department sits 2 blocks from one of Southern California's most beautiful beaches. It boasts a team atmosphere with a leadership team that has been here for several years. The unit is self-scheduling with flexibility. The right fit will be a team player who is eager to learn, has experience in a fast-paced ER, outgoing and not afraid to work hard.
The Patient Care Supervisor in the Emergency Services responsibilities include:
* Ensuring nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety
* Working under the general direction of the Patient Care Manager, the supervisor will share leadership responsibilities for the nursing unit, including managing daily staffing plans.
* Ensuring appropriate and timely use of bed placement technology and adherence to care processes for bed placement/patient
