Description:This role involves providing clinical backup for the Emergency Department and Med Surg/Special Care.The position requires previous charge experience.Strong leadership skills are essential for this role.Candidates must be able to work every third weekend.Availability for on-call is required.Patient ratios are 4 during the day and 5 during the night.Exposure to a diverse patient age group, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, is expected.Daily census averages 11 patients with approximately 20 visits per day.Strong charting skills in the required system are necessary.Candidates may be required to float within the facility or to an affiliate location.References from supervisors are mandatory.A clean background with no open cases is a requirement.Compliance with state fingerprinting regulations is necessary.Candidates should be prepared to travel if required for specific pre-employment processes.A cap on allowable time off is established.Flexibility in scheduling is appreciated.
