Job description
Scope of Responsibility
Registered Nurses provide nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame and will routinely lead team of care providers.
Responsible to Director of Surgical Unit
Education
Associates Degree Nurse or Bachelors of Science Nursing Degree
Training and Experience
Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
Obtains and maintains ACLS within 6 months of employment
Obtains and maintains PALS within 12 months of employment
ONS training/certification for Chemotherapy Administration preferred
1 year previous experience preferred
