About This Role
The Registered Nurse in Telemetry at Jefferson Hospital is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. This role is ideal for those who are committed to providing high-quality care and fostering a collaborative team environment.

What You\'ll Do
Assess human responses and implement nursing care for individuals or families.
Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services.
Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
Utilize the nursing process to develop and implement patient care plans.
Analyze health status data to determine patient care needs.
Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
Participate in professional development and continuous learning.
Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered.
Requirements
Education
Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required.
Licenses & Certifications
CPR certification required.
Preferred certification in area of specialty.
Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
