About This Role
The RN - Telemetry/Med Surg position at Highmark Health involves providing direct nursing care while coordinating patient care plans for various age groups. This role is ideal for nurses who are committed to delivering high-quality patient education and support.

What You'll Do
Utilize the nursing process to provide and coordinate patient care.
Initiate, monitor, and revise interdisciplinary plans of care based on assessments and physician orders.
Complete patient documentation to promote interdisciplinary communication.
Provide ongoing teaching to patients and families across the continuum of care.
Support the development of students and new staff, potentially serving as a preceptor.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
Education: Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
Licenses & Certifications: CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
