This 13-week contract places you at two prominent medical centers in Oxnard and Camarillo, California, primarily working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. As a critical care provider, you’ll be floating between telemetry, medsurg, and intermediate units, caring for a high-acuity patient population—including pneumonia, respiratory distress, CHF, and post-procedure patients—requiring your expertise with drips and monitoring technology. The role challenges your adaptability and clinical skills, as resources can be limited and the pace fast, demanding a positive attitude and a heart for compassionate care. Unique to this assignment is the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a busy environment that emphasizes primary care nursing and quick thinking. You will experience the vibrant energy of these well-equipped facilities, frequently managing complex cases with little room for error.
