Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36
Compensation: Salary Range $2,758 - $3,430
Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and applicable age and population‑specific standards.
Provide care to patients in all phases of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up as patients move through the continuum of care.
Plan and coordinate care, perform patient assessment, provide patient education, triage, and perform various nursing interventions.
Operate within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in state nursing practice acts and administrative rules.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Current, unencumbered RN license with the state board of nursing where practice occurs, or multistate licensure under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Maintain required departmental competencies and certifications.
At least one year of nursing experience.
At least six months of travel experience.
Live at least 60 miles from the location where the position will be performed.
Benefits
Weekly pay with stipend included in the weekly rate.
Eligible for Sanford benefits.
Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend or move to another Sanford site.
