RN Unit ManagerIn this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the day-to-day operations of our nursing unit, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care. As a mentor and role model, you will guide and support our nursing staff to deliver exceptional care, promote a positive work environment, and foster strong relationships with residents and their families.Key Responsibilities:Supervise nursing staff and manage unit operations to ensure efficient and compliant care delivery.Develop, implement, and enforce employee policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care.Mentor and support less experienced nurses, providing clinical guidance and career development advice.Establish and uphold standards of care for the unit, ensuring resident safety and well-being.Review resident records and monitor the quality of care provided, ensuring accurate and effective treatment plans.Conduct case reviews and ensure individualized care plans are consistently followed.Address inquiries and concerns from residents and their families in a timely and professional manner.Ensure the unit is adequately stocked with necessary medical supplies to prevent shortages and ensure smooth operations.Advocate for the unit's interests to upper management and collaborate in addressing issues as needed.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care (preferred).At least 1 year of experience in a Unit Manager role (preferred).Valid RN License required.Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.What We Offer:Stable opportunity with a wide range of experiences to further develop your career.Competitive weekly pay with multiple bonus opportunities, including sign-on and referral bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package, including:401k with partial company matchGenerous paid time off (PTO)Health Insurance (Health, Vision, and Dental)Tuition ReimbursementContinued education and training to advance your careerHealthy work-life balanceSupportive leadership and friendly colleagues to help you along the wayExperience a smooth application process!
