RN Unit ManagerPark Avenue Extended Care is seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to support our mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care. As an RN Unit Manager, you'll work closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing to ensure efficient nursing operations and an exceptional resident experience.Key Responsibilities:Support the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in managing day-to-day nursing operationsSupervise, mentor, and hold nursing staff accountable to ensure adherence to care standardsAddress and escalate staff concerns or grievances as appropriateMonitor staffing levels; optimize scheduling to reduce overtime and agency usageConduct staff evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as neededFoster teamwork and maintain a positive, collaborative work culture across the unitParticipate in quality assurance initiatives, budget planning, and internal committeesOversee MDS completion and collaborate on discharge planning with families and care teamsEnsure compassionate, individualized care for residents and their familiesQualifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New YorkMinimum of 2 years experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experienceExcellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skillsBenefits:Competitive salary based on experience401(k) retirement planGenerous paid time off (PTO) and paid holidaysComprehensive medical and dental insuranceEmployee recognition programs and company perksSupportive, team-oriented work environmentIf you're a passionate RN leader ready to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you!Apply today and join a team that values your skills, supports your growth, and puts resident care first.
