RN Unit ManagerThe Emerald Peek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to step into a Unit Manager role. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations of a nursing unit, ensuring quality resident care, and providing leadership to both licensed and non-licensed staff within a skilled nursing setting.Key Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate daily clinical operations for an assigned unitComplete required documentation including reports, evaluations, care plans, and medical recordsSupervise nursing staff, including coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessarySupport staff development through training and one-on-one educationOversee and maintain quality assurance initiatives within the unitCollaborate with interdisciplinary departments to ensure continuity of careEnsure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and clinical standardsServe as a point of contact for residents, families, and staff, addressing concerns professionallyMake sound clinical and operational decisions in a fast-paced environmentQualifications:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New YorkPrior supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care, or related healthcare setting preferredStrong understanding of clinical practices, long-term care regulations, and compliance standardsDemonstrated leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to remain organized and manage multiple responsibilitiesWillingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as neededCompensation & Benefits:Salary up to $120,000 annually (based on experience)Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planAdditional voluntary benefitsJoin Our Team: If you are a motivated nursing leader looking to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team at The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.Equal Opportunity Employer
