RN Unit ManagerPomeroy Living Sterling Skilled is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations within our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and proven leadership skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care while managing the nursing staff effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate nursing staff activities on the unit to ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.Provide direct patient care as needed and ensure nursing care plans are implemented effectively.Monitor and evaluate patient care to maintain high standards of quality and safety.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff development.Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and nursing activities.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory surveys.Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.QualificationsCurrent and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.Proven experience as an RN Unit Manager or in a similar leadership role within a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide hands-on nursing care.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in skilled nursing care.SkillsExperienced in nursing leadership and unit management.Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficient in staff supervision and development.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.If you are an experienced RN with leadership capabilities and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity at Pomeroy Living Sterling Skilled.
