Job description
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care in a Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU).
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering comprehensive nursing care to adults with complex medical conditions, following evidence-based practices.
Monitoring vital signs, neurological, respiratory, renal functions, and infection indicators, intervening promptly.
Administering medications, treatments, and procedures with accuracy and clinical judgment.
Collaborating with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educating patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.
Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring patient safety.
Providing compassionate, holistic care aligned with organizational values.
Qualifications include:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Active RN license (state-specific).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or acute care settings.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are advantageous.
