About This Role
As an RN in the Weekender Flex Program at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, you will provide exceptional care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, focusing on telemetry and advanced monitoring. Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (12-hour shifts on weekend days)
What You'll Do
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families.
Requirements
Education
Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Experience
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
Licenses & Certifications
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
