Road Maintenance SupervisorYou must have 5 years supervisor, cement and/or asphalt maintenance experience! Building construction experience.Summary of PositionWe are looking for a hardworking, eager Road Maintenance Forman to join our team. Primary responsibilities include leading the crew for concrete, blacktop, and sealcoating teams. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual with a wide variety of skill sets. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines and take pride in the standards and services they deliver to our residents.Internal Reporting Relationship(s)Property ManagerPosition Activities and TasksExperience with equipment operationsWillingness to travel from time to timeExperience in hauling equipmentMaintaining equipmentExperience with power tools and hand toolsPerform cement and asphalt road maintenance.Perform sidewalk and curb repairs.Assist in hot patching and overlaying roads.Operate vehicles and equipment to haul materials and account for materials used in accordance with regulations and procedures.Perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time and during inclement & non-inclement weather conditions.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredPhysically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching.Positive attitude and willingness to lead and work as part of a team.Strong work ethic and organizational skillsPuts high value on doing a good job and self-supervisory skills.Mechanically inclinedKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsWorking knowledge of tools and devicesManual dexterity and problem-solving skillsEducation Level RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent.Experience RequiredRoad maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plusReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseMaintenance ToolsNegative Drug Test
