Job description
Road Saw OperatorThe Road Saw Operator is responsible for cutting, drilling, and removing concrete and other materials in the field, typically for utility construction, repair, or maintenance projects. This role requires both mechanical skill and the ability to work in challenging outdoor conditions.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSafely operates road saw to make accurate cuts per project needsAccurately locates and measures site to be cutTransports equipment between yard and job site dailyKeeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and calling for repairsSafely identify PA1 call markings prior to cuttingResponsible for site and public safetyMeets daily production expectationsCompletion of daily logs and production paperworkPerforms related duties as assignedMaintains compliance with all company policies and proceduresEducation, Skills And/Or Work Experience RequirementsAbility to follow direction1 year minimum of road saw operating experienceAbility to read a tape measurerKnowledge of job site and public safetyDriver's License requiredAbility to tow and maneuver a trailerKnowledge of PA1 call markingsBenefits401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceVision insuranceCompany paid Short- & Long-Term Disability InsurancePhysical RequirementsStrong manual dexterityAbility to lift 60+ poundsAbility to stand 10+ hours per dayAbility to work in harsh weather conditions
