Primary Function:

This position is responsible for traveling to clients and sites to provide service and repairs on emergency vehicles and ambulances.

Key Responsibilities

* Ability to respond to roadside service calls for emergency vehicles and ambulances.

* Communicate professionally with customers and internal team to ensure a high level of service is delivered with each service call.

* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, air brake, suspension and lighting issues.

* Perform emergency roadside repairs accurately and timely.

* Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of work performed and completion repair orders electronically.

* Maintain a clean, organized and well stocked service vehicle.

* Pick up and deliver emergency vehicles and ambulances to and from customer locations.

* Operate a forklift as needed (or willingness to be trained).

* Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues.

* Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

* All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Valid CDL Class B license (required)

* Clean driving record

* Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 75 lbs

* Dependable and able to work independently

* Strong attention to safety and detail

Experience:

High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of vehicle repair and service work. Previous experience driving emergency vehicles, ambulances, or other commercial vehicles is desired.
