Job description
Summary
The Roberto Coin Branded Buyer is responsible for driving commercial success, profitability, and growth for the Roberto Coin brand by developing and executing merchandising and assortment strategies. This role owns the full product lifecycle, partners with cross-functional teams, and manages vendor relationships to meet sales and inventory objectives. The position requires strong analytical, negotiation, and planning skills to optimize assortment performance and support luxury jewelry initiatives.
Responsibilities
Analyze weekly sales, inventory, and performance reports to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Manage end-to-end buying processes including assortment planning, selection meetings, replenishment, and pricing.
Lead weekly and monthly business reviews with Roberto Coin and DSA partners and drive follow-up actions.
Optimize inventory productivity through stock swaps, RTVs, and KPI management.
Conduct showroom, store, and market visits to assess assortment performance and identify opportunities.
Collaborate with Retail, Planning, Marketing, E-commerce, Visual Merchandising, and Operations on product launches and events.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Buying experience at a Junior Buyer level or above within luxury goods, jewelry, or related categories.
Proven ability to manage the full buying cycle from assortment planning through execution and vendor negotiations.
Strong commercial acumen with advanced proficiency in Excel and retail merchandising systems (SAP or similar ERP).
Deep knowledge of luxury jewelry trends and customer preferences; Roberto Coin experience preferred.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including occasional evenings and weekends.
