If you have programming/automation experience, this could be an excellent opportunity for you to join one of the leading companies in the stamping and fabrication industry.Lake Air Products Offers:Competitive wagesComplete benefits package (Medical, Dental, STD, LTD, and 401K)Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday PayGym ReimbursementTuition reimbursementResponsibilitiesProgram and set-up the fixtures to hold metal components for assembling structural forms, using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.Participate in fixture design to facilitate productive and flexible welding of production parts.Develop templates or tooling to hold and align parts; install fixtures for holding metal parts, torch, or arc welding equipment.Observe tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.Clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, or grinding spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements and create a welded final product,Control the processes of fitting, burning, and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheating, distortion, expansion or shrinking of spare parts,Audits the quality requirements and is capable of reworking or completing missing welds after the robotic process.Qualifications1 year programming experience requiredIn-depth knowledge of welding requiredExperience with FANUC Robots is a plusQuickly and efficiently completing jobs with very few rejects due to cosmeticsAbility to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurementsUsing hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.Please note that if this position is located in our Little Chute, WI facility, it may be subject to export control regulation.
