Job description
Robotic Welder OperatorWelders support manufacturing operations by producing quality welded assemblies using MIG welding and fabrication equipment. This role works from blueprints and work instructions to fixture, tack, and weld steel assemblies while ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent production. As employees develop their welding skills and production knowledge, there is an opportunity to grow into a Robotic Grinder Operator and Robotic Welder Operator role, supporting automated welding systems and robotic welding cells.What You'll DoLoad parts into robotic welding fixtures and secure them properly.Start and monitor robotic welding programs.Inspect welded parts for quality and consistency.Make minor robot program adjustments such as touch-ups or position edits.Perform light touch-up welding when needed.Set weld parameters such as voltage and wire speed.Maintain robotic welding cells and keep equipment organized and efficient.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent1+ years welding experience OR welding technical school trainingAbility to read blueprints and follow work instructionsAbility to safely operate welding and fabrication equipmentBasic math and measuring skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable using computers and production softwareAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyWillingness to learn robotic welding systemsBenefitsHealth, Dental and Vision InsuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceHSA Match401k ContributionPPE ReimbursementsTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Referral BonusAccrued PTOHoliday PayBereavement PayQuarterly BonusesSafety Boot ReimbursementWelding Helmet ReimbursementCompany Paid/Provided UniformsCompensation: $26 – $30 per hour based on experience
