Roll Grind OperatorEngineered Materials Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Roll Grind Operator for our 2nd shift (*includes 10% shift premium).Position Summary: Set up and operate a variety of precision grinding machines to perform production grinding of machine work rolls to close tolerances where grinding methods and sequences are predetermined and established tooling provided.Responsibilities for Roll Grind Operator:Performs operations such as grinding compound angles, internal and external spherical radii, contours and long exact tapers on productsSelects, mounts and aligns various specialized attachments and standard toolingInterprets blueprints, sketches and engineering specifications.Dresses trues and shapes grinding wheelsEducation and Experience:High School or Equivalency Diploma preferredRelated machine experience requiredPhysical Demands:Lifting up to 40 lbs, Standing may be up to 75% of timeEnvironment:Manufacturing Environment
