You'll help maintain, prepare, and process rolls and equipment that support our rolling mills and other production areas.Operate and monitor grinding equipmentInspect, assemble, and maintain rolls, bearings, and chocksSet up grinding machines and grind rolls to the correct specificationsRead work orders, drawings, charts, and production schedulesUse measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gaugesInspect finished work for quality and correct specificationsSafely lift and move rolls and other materialsOperate or learn to operate forklifts and overhead cranesHelp troubleshoot problems and minimize equipment downtimeComplete basic computer work and maintain accurate recordsMaintain a clean and safe work areaWhat We're Looking ForMechanical aptitude and willingness to learnManufacturing, machining, maintenance, or industrial experience preferredStrong attention to detailBasic computer skillsAble to work independently and prioritize tasksDependable with good attendanceSafety-focused and team-orientedScheduleOpenings are for 2nd and 3rd shift only:2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AMAbout UsHesitant to apply because you may not meet every specific requirement?
