Roll Processing & Grinding Technician
2nd & 3rd Shift Only
Pay: $22.00-$28.00/hr based on position and experience

What You'll Do
As a Roll Processing & Grinding Technician , you may work in our Grind Shop or Roll Assembly/Bearing Maintenance area. You'll help prepare, maintain, and process rolls and equipment that support our rolling mills and production areas.
Operate and monitor grinding equipment
Set up and grind rolls to the correct specifications
Inspect, assemble, and maintain rolls, bearings, and chocks
Read work orders, drawings, charts, and production schedules
Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools
Inspect finished work for quality
Safely move rolls and materials
Operate or learn to operate forklifts and overhead cranes
Help troubleshoot equipment and reduce downtime
Complete basic computer work and documentation
Keep the work area clean and safe
What We're Looking For
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Manufacturing, machining, maintenance, or industrial experience preferred
Good attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Able to work independently and prioritize work
Dependable with good attendance
Safety-focused and team-oriented
Schedule
Openings are for 2nd and 3rd shift only
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM-7:00 AM
