Machine OperatorWe believe our employees are the reason for our success, and our compensation and benefits are designed to reflect that belief.Job SummaryThis position is responsible for machine setup and operation of Roll Thread machines with little to no supervision ensuring quality standards are met for the assigned machine group. Continuous improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate equipment as trained.Follow all safety rules.Perform inspection checks to monitor the quality of all parts.Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/QS documentation.Maintain clean and orderly work area.Move material by operating forklift or using non-motorized devices.Suggest process improvement ideas.All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and or Team Lead.Qualifications, Skills & Experience3-5 years experience operating a variety of sized Roll Thread equipment.HSD/GED or equivalent experienceGood Mechanical AptitudeAbility to perform basic mathPreferred ExperienceExperience operating: Hartford, Kyoei, and SEMSWe consider all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, marital status, handicap, genetic information, disability or status as a veteran.
