Roof Decking ForemanBonitz of Georgia is hiring a skilled Roof Decking Foreman. On a daily basis, you'll lead a team through supervision, training and coaching to ensure the team delivers a quality roof decking system to the customer. You'll also ensure that all equipment is in good working condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background providing training, leadership, and fostering teamwork in construction projects with an emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency. We operate primarily in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupervise the entire roof decking process and teamPlan and coordinate all aspects of assigned construction projectsPlan daily work goals to complete jobs on time while ensuring both efficiency and qualityConduct on-site safety meetings and ensure all safety protocols are being followedSupervise, train and coach crew members and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project specificationsCommunicate with the superintendent and office support personnel to provide updates and address any issues or concernsEnsure that all necessary equipment and tools are used in the proper manner and properly maintainedMaintain an accurate equipment & materials inventoryMaintain a work environment that adheres to all company and OSHA standardsSubmit timely and accurate timesheets, expense reports, delivery tickets, etc.Interact with customers in a professional and courteous mannerAdditional Responsibilities & RequirementsOvertime as requiredCommunication skillsTravel to various job sites, 75% weekday overnight travelMust be able to lift, push, or pull heavy equipment (50 – 75 pounds)Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of timeMust possess good manual dexterity to climb around equipment and job siteAbility to work at heights as well as access heights from a ladderEmployees may be required to perform any other job-related tasks as requested by the SuperintendentMust enjoy working outside in all weather conditionsAbility to work occasional weekend day(s)90-day Probationary periodBilingual a plusRequirementsPotential candidates must be willing to submit to and meet the requirements of a preemployment drug screening and physical3 years of experience in the commercial construction industryExperience in concrete work preferred but not requiredNormal vision and hearingAcceptable driving record per MVR guidelinesHigh school diploma or equivalentWillingness to travel30-hour OSHA certification helpful but not required.
