Travel: Some jobs outside Bakersfield. Most are day trips, and you'll typically be back the same night.
Solara Energy is a Bakersfield-based residential solar and battery installer. We self-perform all our work, no subs, so our crews own the quality from start to finish. We're looking for an experienced roof installer to join the team.
What you'll do
Primary role: Install racking and panels on residential roofs and run conduit through attics
Bend and mount conduit (EMT)
Hang equipment: combiners, disconnects, batteries, and related gear
Help the ground crew when roof work is done
Requirements
Solar roof install experience required. This is not a training position
Experience with racking systems (IronRidge, Unirac, QuickMount, or similar)
Conduit bending experience
Comfortable working on roofs and in hot attics, Central Valley summers included
Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license
Able to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders all day
Current CA Electrician Trainee (ET) registration, or willing to register
Safety-minded and able to show up on time, every day we work
