Roofing AssistantRoofing Assistant supports skilled roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems, handling various tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in Installation and Repair: Support roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, and metal roofing systems.Material Preparation: Prepare and transport materials to the job site, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for the roofing team.Site Maintenance: Clean and maintain work areas, ensuring that tools and equipment are organized and safe to use.Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.Basic Roofing Duties: Perform basic roofing tasks under the supervision of experienced roofers, such as measuring, cutting, and applying roofing materials.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.Strong verbal communication skillsWritten communication skillsGood attitudeClean, well-groomed appearance1-2 years related experienceAn applicant must be a born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
