Job description
Roofing LaborerWe are seeking a dependable and hardworking Roofing Laborer to join our construction team. The Roofing Laborer is responsible for assisting roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented, outdoor environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the installation of roofing materials such as shingles, asphalt, metal, and other roofing systemsLoad and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sitesRemove old roofing materials and debrisSet up ladders, scaffolding, and other equipmentMaintain a clean and safe worksiteFollow all safety protocols and company policiesOperate hand and power tools under supervisionAssist with waterproofing and sealing tasks as neededSupport skilled roofers with measurements, cutting materials, and alignmentPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leadsQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredPrior construction or roofing experience is a plus but not requiredAbility to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasksComfortable working at heights and in various weather conditionsBasic knowledge of hand and power toolsStrong work ethic and reliabilityAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferredWorking Conditions:Outdoor work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)Standing, climbing, bending, and lifting for extended periodsExposure to heights and use of ladders or scaffoldingBenefits:Competitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCompany vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable)Opportunities for overtimeOngoing training and professional developmentPositive and safety-focused work environment
