Job description
Commercial Roof Project ManagerThis position is primarily responsible for ensuring commercial roof projects are properly assessed, scoped, ordered, and built to local codes and warranty standards. This position may consist of traveling across company markets with Denver, CO as headquarters.Core Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned.Work closely with the commercial sales team to ensure jobs are built properlyAccurately interpret roof take offs and build replacement scopesMaintain notes in the CRM related to every jobResearch required information using available resourcesWalk all jobs with crew prior to starting projectPrepare material orders and order materials within the CRMManage installations on-site to ensure qualityTrain crews in proper installation, repair techniques (if needed)Inspect and approve all installationsStay current on all low-slope and steep-slope roofing products and installation enhancementsObtain certifications from manufacturersReporting daily to Commercial Production Director at corporate headquartersExtensive travel throughout company markets/territories; up to 2-3 weeks at a time before returning homePotential travel areas include, but not limited to: Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, ColoradoCompetenciesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternate solutions.Ability to perform advanced math calculations.Extensive knowledge of low slope roof systems, installations, and performance.Manage difficult or emotional customer situations; respond promptly to customer needs; respond to requests for service and assistance; meet commitments.Maintain confidentiality; listen to others without interrupting; keep emotions under control.Communication - Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification; respond well to questions.
