Job description
Mechanical AssemblerWe are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble, test, and inspect precision rotary unions used in a wide range of industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building high-quality products in a modern, climate-controlled manufacturing facility.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble rotary unions and related products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly proceduresPerform functional testing, pressure testing, and final inspections to verify product performance and qualityRead and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work ordersUse hand tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, and test equipment safely and accuratelyIdentify and report quality issues, damaged components, or assembly discrepanciesMaintain accurate production and quality documentationAssist with troubleshooting assembly and test issues while working closely with engineering and production teamsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety proceduresQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision mechanical componentsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructionsBasic computer skills for production reporting and documentationPreferredExperience assembling hydraulic, pneumatic, or rotating mechanical equipmentFamiliarity with pressure testing, leak testing, and precision measuring instrumentsExperience working within an ISO 9001 or similar quality management systemForklift or overhead crane experience (or willingness to obtain certification)Skills & CompetenciesExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize work and meet production schedulesDependable work ethic and positive attitudeAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryCareer Development and Cross-Training OpportunitiesHealth Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision)Simple IRA and Roth IRA options with company contributionsPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Leave, Holidays)Paid Term Life and Long-Term Disability InsuranceModern, Climate-Controlled Facility
