Framing Carpenter - Grand Rapids, MI$ per hourLocal ProjectsCompetitive Company BenefitsJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced framing carpenter to join our team for a wood-frame construction project in Wyoming, MI. This is a temporary project expected to last 2-3 months and offers the opportunity to work on a fast-paced commercial construction site.ResponsibilitiesInstall wood framing components according to project plans.Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials.Build walls, floors, roof systems, and other structural components.Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean and organized job site.Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements.Collaborate effectively with the construction team to meet project deadlines.Essential SkillsPrevious framing carpentry experience required.Experience with wood-frame construction preferred.Ability to read a tape measure and construction drawings.Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.Reliable transportation to and from the job site.Strong work ethic and commitment.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of carpentry, construction, and framing.Experience in finish carpentry, concrete, drywall, and rough carpentry.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to interpret blueprints.Experience with commercial construction, metal stud installation, doors, trim work, and cabinetry.Why Work Here?Join a dedicated team where your skills will be valued, and you will have the chance to work on a significant commercial project. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
